The Individual Oral Commentary (IOC) is a literary analysis of a poem or an extract of a poem - in our case, this will be Wilfred Owen poetry. The poem will be accompanied by two guiding questions and the commentary will last for 10 mins (8 mins worth of commentary and 2 minutes of questions)

 

The Discussion is conducted by the teacher and follows immediately after the commentary without stopping the recording. This will be based on either The Bloody Chamber or Othello. The discussion will last for 10 mins.
